We know choosing a new school is a big decision, so we’ve made the application process as supportive and streamlined as possible. From the time you apply, your student can be starting classes in as little as two weeks.

Joining MOHS is easier than you think

The process from application to first day typically takes two to three weeks. Our admissions team is with you every step of the way to make sure you always know what comes next.

State Funding

You may be able to apply for state funded scholarships or tax programs to cover some or all of your MOHS tuition cost.

Tuition

Our goal at MOHS is to keep tuition as affordable as possible. We offer monthly and annual tuition options. Tuition assistance and sibling discounts are also available for those families that qualify.

  • Annual MOHS tuition covering up to 12 months of active enrollment
  • Full access to the MOHS curriculum and teacher, student advisor, and academic counselor support
  • All available Workbooks for enrolled courses
  • Register for up to 4 ASU dual credit courses per school year
  • After School Learning course options - choose from a selection of independent study courses (these courses do not count towards MOHS credit requirements)

Application and Onboarding Steps

Enroll

Submit your application through our online portal with basic student information and academic records, including transcripts or homeschool records. Depending on your situation, tuition support options may also be available at this stage

Review

Our team reviews every application to make sure MOHS is a strong fit for your student. We may reach out with questions or request additional information before sending a decision

Academic counselor meeting

Once approved, you'll meet with an academic counselor to review your student's academic history, build their course schedule, and set up a personalized learning plan. This is where your student's MOHS journey takes shape

Orientation

Before classes begin, new students complete Launchpad, our orientation experience designed to get them comfortable with the platform and their daily workflow. From there, it's time to start learning.

Ready to apply? Here’s what you’ll need

Gathering your documents ahead of time will help the process move quickly

Parent & student information

Basic contact information for the parent or guardian, including name, email, and phone number, along with your student's name, date of birth, and grade level.

Parent identity

A copy of a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport.

Student identity

A copy of one of the following: birth certificate, passport, or driver's license.

Academic records

Transcripts or report cards from your student's current and previous schools. High school applicants should provide all records from grades 9 through their current grade. Middle school applicants should provide all available records. Homeschool families can use our MOHS Homeschool Transcript Template to document completed coursework.

Tuition assistance documents

If you plan to apply for tuition assistance, please have one or more of the following ready: tax return, W-2 and/or 1099, two recent pay stubs, or proof of unemployment, disability, or Social Security benefits.
